SWEDISH MEATBALL NOODLE BAKE

Ingredients

    • 8 ounce package uncooked wide egg noodles
    • 2 Tablespoons unsalted butter
    • ½ cup finely diced onion
    • 1 cup button mushrooms sliced thinly
    • ¼ cup all-purpose flour
    • 2 ½ cups beef broth
    • 2 Tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
    • ½ cup sour cream
    • ½ cup heavy cream
    • Salt to taste
  • Pepper to taste
  • 26 ounce package frozen meatballs thawed
  • Fresh parsley for serving optional

Instructions

Cook noodles until al dente. Drain and set aside.
Preheat oven to 350F. Spray a 13×9-inch baking dish with cooking spray.
In a saucepan, melt butter.
Cook the onions and mushrooms until tender, approximately 3-5 minutes.
