Ingredients
  

  • 1/4 cup low-sodium soy sauce
  • 1 tbsp cornstarch
  • 1/3 cup beef broth
  • 2 tbsp honey
  • 2 tbsp hoisin sauce
  • 1 tbsp rice vinegar
  • 1 tbsp sesame oil
  • 2 cloves garlic minced
  • 1/2 tbsp fresh ginger grated
  • 1/8 tsp red pepper flakes
  • 2 packages ramen noodles seasoning discarded
  • 1 tsp sesame oil for noodles
  • 2 tbsp olive oil divided
  • 1 lb sirloin steak thinly sliced
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • 3 cups broccoli florets
  • 1/2 cup water
  • 1 tbsp sesame seeds for garnish

Instructions
 

  • Whisk soy sauce and cornstarch until smooth, then mix in remaining sauce ingredients and set aside.
  • Cook ramen noodles until just tender, drain, rinse, and toss with sesame oil.
  • Heat oil in a skillet, cook seasoned steak until browned, then remove.
  • Cook broccoli with water, cover, and steam until tender-crisp.
  • Return steak and add noodles, then pour in sauce.
  • Toss everything until sauce thickens and coats evenly.
  • Serve immediately with sesame seeds on top.

Notes

Swap beef for chicken or shrimp, or add extra vegetables like bell peppers or carrots for variety.
