Oreo Dirt Cake

Ingredients
  

  • 1 box chocolate cake mix plus ingredients listed on box
  • 12.8 oz hot fudge sauce
  • 2 boxes instant chocolate pudding mix 3.4 oz each
  • 3 1/2 cups milk
  • 8 oz whipped topping thawed
  • 30 Oreo cookies crushed

Instructions
 

  • Bake chocolate cake in a 9x13-inch pan according to package instructions.
  • Cool slightly, then poke holes all over the cake and pour warmed hot fudge over the top. Let cool completely.
  • Prepare one pudding mix with half the milk and pour over the cake before it fully sets. Chill 20 minutes.
  • Prepare second pudding mix, chill briefly, then fold in whipped topping and most of the crushed Oreos.
  • Spread over cake and top with remaining Oreos. Chill until ready to serve.

Notes

Add gummy worms for a fun twist. Sprinkle Oreos just before serving for extra crunch.
