Ingredients

  • 1 can cream of chicken soup 10.5 ounces
  • 1 1/2 cups chicken broth
  • 1 1/2 cups instant white rice uncooked; do not substitute regular long-grain rice in this method
  • 1/4 cup Parmesan cheese grated; freshly grated or from a can
  • 1 dash black pepper freshly ground

Instructions

  • Heat the cream of chicken soup and chicken broth in a saucepan over medium-high heat until the mixture comes to a boil.

  • Cover the saucepan and remove it from the heat. Let stand for 5 to 8 minutes, until the rice is cooked and most of the liquid is absorbed.
