BANANA STREUSEL CAKE –Chocolate and banana are a winning combination in this delicious cake! It has a chocolate streusel topping and filling tucked inside a buttery, tender crumb fragrant with sweet bananas.
When I think of bananas I always think of dessert. That’s where the world’s most portable fruit belongs. In all the cakes and pies.
It’s one of my favorite flavors especially when chocolate, cinnamon and walnuts are added to the equation. It’s a win-win.
The streusel is made of mini chocolate chips, walnuts, brown sugar and cinnamon. There’s a gooey ribbon of it running through the cake and a generous amount on top too.
If you’re staring down a few brown bananas then it must be fate.
